New troop: VOLCANO MAGE!

I have a question. If his range is 3 tiles how is he going to attack 10 things at one place?. He can mostly attack 4 buildings at a time with 3 tile range

I think you misread. It is 3 tiles from the primary target, then the lava will spread to about 10 buildings.

Read the idea I had on the last page and see if you'd like that better.

Cool! I agree, GoWiPe is probably one of the best army compositions to use this troop with as the slow moving troops will all let the Volcano Mage help them do tons more damage.

Lava Spreading to 10 buildings at once? That seems a bit crazy, and silly. It would just look odd and a bit weird if that would happen.

Plus, buildings would just be cleared out far too quickly. This troop was originally a good idea, that I feel has just gone downhill. It's had an unnecessary buff, and it seems like a bad idea that lava would make things take more damage. It seems logical that it should have burn damage if anything.

I originally liked the idea, but too many changed have been added to it as this thread has become more popular and it isn't as good as it was. I think that a higher damage increase on a single building would be better and wouldn't make the entire map as cluttered as it is now.

Oh, how would that work? Would his projectile split into 6 pieces and then fire at the nearby buildings ?

Also, would multiple Volcano Mages stack the effect of the damage boost more ?

I was thinking that it could be similar to the Level 6 Wizard projectile, that does less damage and makes the building take more damage in.

It would be funny to see an army of all Volcano Mages going against a Max TH10 base with all the projectiles flying around.
