allow attacking the enemy way base (in clan war) before the battle day starts i.e on the preparation day for a few gems that keep decreasing with time

If it costs a stupid amount of gems to do so, sure. Otherwise, no thank you.
This would be unfair.
You can train your war army within 2 hours but with gems you can make it half an hour or even 0 second.
You can train troops and attack so you can get loot but with gems you can fill your storages.You can't attack the enemy in the preparation day, but with gems you could??? NoPe
