Can there PLEASE be more shields.......

I just want like 3 new shields. One: 5 mins. 5 gems, cool down one hour. Second new shield: 10 mins. 10 gems cool down 2 hours. Third new shield 30 mins. 20 gems Cool down 4 hours.
I just want it simple not 1 min., 5min., 30min., 1 hour, 6 hours. Etc....

One hour cool down? Wouldn't you be back for more than an hour? You are already spending those cool down periods playing so tell me how will anyone ever be able to attack you?

SC implemented a 8 hr time limit on how long one can play. After you go 8 hrs straight you have to take a 5 minute break in which you can get attacked. If a 1hr sheild ( or even a 5 minute) were implemented you would go to 7hrs (7hrs 59 min) and then buy a cheap sheild. You would NEVER get attacked.

This would ruin matchmaking EVEN MORE.

You people complain about everything... Once this gets added you'll see how champs will attack you OP, and you'll be back here trying to get the feature removed

Don't worry, OP - I get you. It's a good idea and I hope they add it.

Some people just aren't understanding the usefulness.

Examples:

1. I am farming, but I have to go pee. I can spend a couple gems for a 5-minute shield. (One minute should be enough, 2 if you have had beer or coffee)
2. I am farming, but I have to go "number two". I can spend X amount of gems to buy a 15-minute shield. (15 minutes not enough)
3. War is ending soon, I have CC troops for my attack, but I have to wait a 30 minutes for one of my spells to finish. I can spend X amount of gems for a 30-minute shield so I don't have to keep my phone/tablet on while doing nothing for 15 minutes. (TBH we have everyone in our clan pay attention to that and put TH out ahead of time so we are all riding under shields during the times we are all together doing battle)
4. I am off work in 6 hours and I want to trophy farm when I get home, but my shield is up. I can spend X amount of gems for a 6-hour shield. (So you are saying you want to append to your existing shield?)

etc. etc. etc.

If you put your TH outside, that doesn't guarantee someone won't attack your whole base. (But that still gets what you wanted, a shield, just not as cheaply) So that's not a solution. An it's definitely not a solution if you're trophy farming.

SC would probably make more money on gem sales this way too, I think. (Well, I may not like the idea but I can't say this is not true)

This idea would majorly screw champions league over, people would attack, buy an hour shield, in that time there armies trained, attack etc.
