Can there PLEASE be more shields.......

Don't worry, OP - I get you. It's a good idea and I hope they add it.

Some people just aren't understanding the usefulness.

Examples:

1. I am farming, but I have to go pee. I can spend a couple gems for a 5-minute shield.
2. I am farming, but I have to go "number two". I can spend X amount of gems to buy a 15-minute shield.
3. War is ending soon, I have CC troops for my attack, but I have to wait a 30 minutes for one of my spells to finish. I can spend X amount of gems for a 30-minute shield so I don't have to keep my phone/tablet on while doing nothing for 15 minutes.
4. I am off work in 6 hours and I want to trophy farm when I get home, but my shield is up. I can spend X amount of gems for a 6-hour shield.

etc. etc. etc.

If you put your TH outside, that doesn't guarantee someone won't attack your whole base. So that's not a solution. An it's definitely not a solution if you're trophy farming.

SC would probably make more money on gem sales this way too, I think.

Actually a 5 or 10 minute shield would be nice. Theres moments where a real life issue comes up and if I could spend a few gems to have a shield it would be great. Even if it were like 25 gems for 5 or 10 mins. there are times where I would do it.

Also now that I think about it, I can make a shameless jab of, "This is another example why defence needs to be fixed", since people are asking for more shields, just to take a leak between raids!

No one plays. No money.

There's no sense in adding a 5 minute shield when a player is going to abuse it so that way he never has to get off. They shield and get off; well no one attacked them so they'll go right back to playing and do it all over again. People will be playing 3-4 days straight.
