provide a LOCK to prevent accidental moving of walls and buildings

One of the most irritating things about COC is when using a small device like an Android, an Iphone, or an Ipod. It is ridiculously easy to "accidentally" move a single piece of wall, or a building, to some other location. Which destroys the integrity of the village design, thereby allowing invaders to attack through the GAP in the wall.

Please try to come up with a way to LOCK WALLS in place so they can't be accidentally (unintensionally) moved.
Or ask for confirmation on the move. "Do you really want to move this wall?"
Or provide an UNDO option to put things back that accidentally were moved.

I realize we can use one of the 3 village edit layouts to COPY a layout that is WHAT we want, then switch to the other copy. That way we CAN activate the layout that was NOT screwed up and then copy it to the Second copy.
Unfortunately, this eliminates the benefit of having three different layouts to play with. A wall LOCK or UNDO or something would be better.

Same with buildings. If the building is hovering over something else, the move won't complete, so clicking somewhere else will put the building back. If the building is over an OPEN area, then the move WILL complete. I then must move it back again.

take two seconds to move the wall back in place...........boom.........problem solved

before you get off, zoom out on you're base and see if anything looks different

    this isn't rocket science people.
max defense th9 -- pushing walls
mid defense th9 -- pushing defenses -- throwing elixir at walls
mid defense th7 -- pushing offense
mid defense th7 -- pushing offense

I admit that sometimes I accidentally move a wall when logging in while immediately trying to zoom out. But once, I did not see it happen. I got attacked and that hole was a costly mistake.

They SHOULD allow base editing only in the Layout Editor. That would solve this. I know people want to be able to move stuff around whenever. So maybe make it a button setting with the following options:

    Base Editing

    • Buildings Only Anytime
      • Everything except walls can be moved in village view mode.

    • Layout Editor Only
      • Everything can only be moved in the Layout Editor.

    • All Anytime
      • Everything can be moved in village view mode.

    I like the idea

Once you hit th10 it is real easy to move a wall and search for 10 min to find it or where it went to

    Also.
i wish when you were in base lock mode, you could see the red line around your base instead of the "three shades lighter" green than green that we get now

I went a couple weeks with a hole in my wall that I couldn't see because the archer tower was in the way! I used that wall elsewhere without realizing, so it didn't look like anything was off. This happens to me more often than I would like (sometimes with things other than walls too)! I can't see them adding a button/confirmation (or whatever ) though... as nice as it would be!

I agree that there should be a lock available to prevent accidental movement of structures on the main screen. My suggestion would be to add an option in settings that would allow a user to lock or unlock the main screen according to the user's preference. If locked, editing base layout would be available only in the edit screen.

    I like this

It's fairly easy to go into village edit mode to re-arrange your base or a few structures. I always accidentally end up moving walls into random places, then spend 5 minutes trying to find where it is and where it came from so I can put it back.

Yes. VERY irritating. Walls and buildings moving unintended. Easy solution. Lock base edits. Either require unlock, or the edit function.

    yes please.

I may not face this issue, but th10s might, those walls eventually become a bit hard to spot since there are so many of them.
