global goes by pretty quick these days, so you should have an option to request a clan invite that can be found like the clan request for troops, if you are recruiting players you can have a advert in global once a day that people can see, it would have the green arrow so you could jump right to it, and it would stay at the bottom of chat so it wouldnt go off screen, also you could request once a day as a player for a clan, that way if you are not online it can be spotted by clans and they can invite you and you can see it when you log on
