    Lightbulb Village vs Village.

    If you guys could add this it would be great a village sets down its troops the. The opponent sets down their troops so it's like troops vs troop like in real medieval war spells can be cast down and reinforcement troops must be settle down on a specific area and the goal is to reach the opponents base and destroy it like regular raiding.

    Yep. Have dreamt about this.

    One town hall in the west corner, the other in the east.

    Troops can be placed anywhere on your side, or placed on your side during the battle. Pre-placement would mean placement during preparation time for a scheduled start. Live placement on both sides might raise connectivity issues.

    All troops attack other troops if nearby, or attacks TH if it is closest. Usually, troops would only attack town hall after beating all enemy troops on the field. An exception would be balloons versus an all air army.

    The winner is the one who destroys the enemy TH first.

    There will be lag. And this changes the game. I don't think this will ever happen. I'm sure it's ruled out somewhere in the sticky.

    Something like this would be a great addition. The sticky says that Duelling/challenge/simulator/sparring battle area has been suggested before, and is under consideration. Although, the same paragraph also says it does not imply they are being worked on.

    It gets my vote.

    Yeah, live warring would be unfair on the laggier player.

    prepared all-in chess-like battles might be fun for a day, but pretty soon everyone would work out what the best army is. Then it would become boring.

    Defensive buildings would have to be included to provide variables. That might be good.
