All top 10 players used the always online methods until the update. Then some continued to use the cheap Sheild. Others MAY have stopped.
This does not change the fact that SuperCell needs to eliminate the cheap Sheild, defiantly above 3000 trophies. (I suggest a 50% Sheild).
I think that there are very few people who want the cheap Sheild to stay so let's not worry about the past where all top 10 players used always online methods. Instead lets hope SC fixes this current "loop hole".

Just imagine what would happen if cheap shield is gone, Jorge Yao would cry and not sponsor Supercell anymore, in a business standpoint it would not benefit them if it was removed, why would they want to tumble their gold mines?

And that's a wrap- please use some of the other "cheap shield" threads to best beat this issue to death. There are currently 2 others open in the General section. If they don't end up as a flame war with personal attacks- have at it.
