sick of getting raided inside 1 minute of leaving the game

have u every been on the game either chatting - building - warring - waiting for you troops / spells or just general browsing and get a text while doing so, you go to your text message read and reply - come back to the game and BAM youve been raided inside 1 minute of being away from the game, isn't that just so annoying, please can they put a delay on you base of say 5 minutes, yes they is a shield and no shield for what people are going to say but just a have little leeway in the game, so u can quickly pop in and off without being raided, even 1 minute would be nice, not getting raided inside the first 10 seconds of being away from the game, it's like your base goes to number 1 on everyone got list, please give a little leeway before your base comes up to being available for raiding, for the use of a sending a quick text message, or even make a new 1 hours sheild or 10 minute shield for GEMS obviously so you can make money still, but the aim of this is the stop getting raided inside 1 minute of being away from the game , sorry to drag on people

That would be a bummer. I always get raided 20-40 min after i get off.
What trophy range are you in? People will always take advantage over lower town halls for the cups.

I average around 20-40 minutes before I am hit but once in a while it can be quick. Even I think I have seen under a minute. Its not a big deal though. I am sire I have done it to a few guys too so all's fair that goes both ways.

There is a difference between exiting the game and just leaving the game and switching apps. If you get disconnected, you get.. what.. a 5 minute Shield of sorts? Anyway, when disconnected ungratefully, you aren't listed as attackable right away.

Now, if you switch apps, you don't tell the server you have logged off, and you stay connected for a short while. You can switch back fast, and go right back to what you were doing. If not, the app quickly loadsheds (is 'closed' to save on memory and processing), quicker than most apps I've seen (likely on purpose by Supercell ), and disconnect. You then get that mini-shield, which disappears when you log back in. When you switch back, the app is already in memory and loads in almost no time at all.

If you exit the game, and tap 'OK' on the confirmation pop-up, you've just told the server you are done, and left as intended, rather than in an ungrateful disconnect. You don't get your shield, and you get put into the list of attackable bases (assuming no Shield), and depending on what trophy range you are in, you can easily be in a situation where you get get attacked within a minute.

I always just switch tasks, and leave my connection hanging, and poke back every so often to keep it going, until I'm actually done for awhile. I've also dropped down from Crystal III to Gold III, and went from attacked the moment I was open, to attacked once every several hours, if that.

In my experience, Warren is right.

Don't log off, just shut down the app, turn off wifi, whatever, and you get a few minutes protection.

Changing apps on the iPhone, which closes the app, I'm not sure if that does it, or if it informs the server.

On the iPad, the app runs in the background for quite some time, playing on the iPad has this real advantage over the iPhone.

On ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is the real advantage. The game runs in the background still playing music. When the music stops, reload. Don't know if the iPad coc app can play music from the background...

Overall the situation is hopeless. They should move to long term idle players being bumpable to be attacked. Then, the attack target list will be larger.

A different wish is for a gem-purchased shield, 1-2 hours, and even better, if you can attack without breaking it.

As I harped over before , make the defence side of things better for people. Then you won't have players constantly hovering over the game and scrambling to start it back up when 'the music stops'.

Then you'd have more targets to raid, since people would be more willing to let thier game defencess do thier thing, than use some attack denial feature.

Cheers for your info people , but it really does seems how ever I log off, eg shut down the app, just switch apps, turn my phone of standby while app running , I still got a notification that I'm being raided really quickly, so yea it could be good to generally give everyone 5 minutes once game isn't loaded/playing that you become available to attack, so it becomes a level playing field

If you close the app on purpose, I cannot see why you should have that little grace period. But each device and OS does things differently.

But more protection from being raided shouldn't be something people think of to help 'level the playing field'
