    Ancient Temples - more developed Single Player Campaign

    Hi, Hello and Welcome!
    I want to share my idea of making playing single-player on Clash of Clans more interesting.
    Here I present you... DA TEMPLES!
    It's a brand new game mechanics for CoC. Not to make it too long:


    Ancient Temple


    Description of place:
    Deserted ancient temple located throughout the Clash of Clans world. It's a set of buildings filled with various treasures such as Gold, Elixir, Dark Elixir and... Artifacts!(or parts of them; more in "Explorer's Hut" section) Temples would be filled with extraordinary traps as well. We couldn't make plundering so valuable place as a temple so easy :>




    Find 'em all!:
    Finding an Ancient Temple would be a tough nut to crack. It's a little chance of finding one while you're looking for an opponent to destroy.(Maybe <2%? I don't know...) What would it be like? Look:
    - You're trying to find an easy opponent to steal from...
    - You're still trying to find an easy opponent to steal from...
    - You're still... Hey! A message pops out!


    "You have discovered an Ancient Temple!
    While wandering around the continent with your army you encountered a strange place full of unusual buildings and structures. It might be a good chance to find something valuable! You have written down the exact description of this location, so you can go back here wherever you want. What do you do?

    When you press "Enter":
    You're showed a village (buildings, walls, etc.). It's not an ordinary village. It's full of traps! Deadly traps! Of course you don't see them now, but you must be careful. I've been thinking about making walls undestroyable, but making some paths to certain buildings as well, so you have to decide which way you want to send troops while not sending them straight to death.(some kind of a labirynth)
    It is still to be developed to make it fun!


    While your troops are plundering nearby building, you can earn some interesting items either.(more in "Explorer's Hut" section)
    The most important building in a whole village is an Ancient Temple we're talking about some time now. It's a storage for lots of loots. But there is one most wanted item from them - The Map Part.(more in "Explorer's Hut" section)
    When you fully destroy the whole Temple, you see the usual Victory Screen - stars, loot, etc.


    When you press "Leave" for the first time / When you finish plundering a Temple for the first time:
    You can see a message from our lovely, redhead assistant.
    "You're saying you have discovered an Ancient Temple? That's amazing! Visit the shop now to build a brand new building - Explorer's Hut! You will find out everything in time, when you hire an Explorer Assistant."
    Or something like that...


    From now on you're able to build so-called-Explorer's-Hut thing. (2 possibilities: a new support building in a village or (never seen before) new building outside of the building zone, ie. in the forest in the top-left area)




    Explorer's Hut:
    O.K., you have a new building. Now what?
    You can store here everything you found in Temples.(except of Gold/Elixir/D.Elixir of course)
    What is it for? I don't know yet. I don't know how to make it good for the gameplay. I've thought of making additional effects for some troops / elixirs or some one-shot bonuses for attacks/defences. It would be like Laboratory or Spell Factory.
    You are finding lots of various artifacts which you can use to craft new items with these bonuses.(still to be developed)
    The important thing is - when you find The Map Part, it's stored here. When you select a certain Part it's a bigger chance to find a new Ancient Temple.(more %?)
    AND! You can return to already-discovered Temples from here. So it's like your HQ for The Ancient Temples. Everything you need is here.


    I've been thinking about adding a plot to it. In example a "Dark Mage" trying to gather all of artifacts to build an EVIL MACHINE to destroy the whole world ("the dark mages things) or some ♥♥♥♥ like that. It is to your imagination and will to cooperate with this idea.

    Of course finding all of Temples would result as something big!


    Let's summarise it!


    Pros:
    - Additional Gold, Elixir and D.Elixir.
    - Additional effects for troops / spells (possible, rare, maybe banned for clan wars)
    - F.U.N.!
    - New building as a "barricade" (possible)

    Cons:
    - A possible loss at game balance.
    - I can't see any more!




    Please! Let me read your feedback, I'm curious if it's worth something. (I hope yes)
