Inferno towers vs Xbows. Which is better?

Here is a question. Does anyone choose X-bow as the primary target for a freeze spell?
Or indeed, you drop freeze on a clump of defs. You more upset if miss bow, or inferno?

If I was TH10 and this happened I'd probably just surrender and get it over with. The only way you're winning with a misplaced freeze spell is with an abundance of luck...

Xbows just archer towers in disguise... i'd willingly give up a couple for an extra inferno tower.....

I do understand the point of a poll, and that people have different opinions, but i cannot see yours.

Of all the multitude of variables, setting, range, type of troop attacking, bow comes out on top in so very very few.

You haven't given a reason... Infernos are better because they can either target multiple troops and burn them (Lun intended :P) really quick, or wreck high health troops. X bows do neither. Also infernos prevent healing.
