Shorten Clan War Prep Day

As it is now, each clan war lasts 48 hours, plus approximately 30 minutes to find a match. Many clans war back to back, and under the current system, these nonstop war clans can start the next war immediately, but the start time of the war still moves back about a half hour every war.

If preparation day was shortened to somewhere in the neighborhood of 23 hours, then it would allow dedicated war clans to have their wars start at the same time every day. My clan starts wars in the evening, and every two weeks or so, the wars are starting at about midnight and we are forced to take a day off so that people can be awake for the start of the war.

There would be no drawbacks I can think of if prep day was shortened by one hour, and it would allow war-focused clans to have wars start at the same time every day, which would make it much easier for clans, and it would allow them to war more often and never have to wait a day to reset the time back to a reasonable hour.

Any comments, questions, or suggestions are welcome.

Stop Talking about a cthread like this but left aside. To get to the point, your idea is fabulous. I fully support a 23 1/2 hour prep day, so we have a designated time evry two days for war. It's not that bad right now, but it would sure help my clan, be ready right away.

Eh Nvm... sorry. Shouldn't hijack a thread. Just annoyed to see so many threads post the same thing getting all the attention, and the stuff I post gets a few good reviews before sinking down the page count

ottertail, you'll find that this subforum gets spammed often with newbies with 'awesome ideas'(as title sometimes) with 95% of them being 'ruled out' (aka, already talked to death, ruled on by Supercell, and ruled that it will very likely not be added, and shouldn't be brought back up again for the 12th or 20th time). You didn't see the older thread since it was likely 5-6 pages down, and the newest reply was only 8 hours old. Not uncommon for a several day old thread to be down to page 20+.

Yeah I have been lurking around for a while, there's so much traffic it's unreal.

I like you idea of the nonstop warring warren, but I think it's a bit over complicated. In a perfect world, it would be the way to to go, but it would likely be a lot of effort for our good friends at supercell for a simple "problem."

Actually, it grew from a simple idea, into a multi-issue fix. One being badly matched up clans. Some of it is algorithm exploitation, as people work more on offence first, TH rush, and defence second, pairing themselves up with bases that have a harder time defending against them, while thier speical defences and sheer size makes it hard to score in return. Possibly giving the server time to presort scheduled clan wars could help give it time and a better selection of clans to work with for matches, plus speeding up the time between the actual search, and finding a clan to war with.

I believe it is doable and possibly desirable for Supercell to put in such a thing, even if it is a bit complex.
