    Red face Veterem - The 3rd Hero

    - What makes this unit/spell unique compared to the other units/spells in the game
    You set him up to do one of the four available spells before going into battle (then it's what he will use till end of attack)
    - Freeze - ability to fire a 3 second freeze spell against troops that come towards him
    - Force - ability to fire a force spell that bounces troops backwards
    - Gravity - ability to force air troops down to allow ground based defence/troops to hit for a 3 seconds
    - Cloak - ability to allow own troops to cloak to allow to get past defence or through walls for a 3 seconds

    - What kind of strategies this new unit would enable (concrete examples are best)

    You have the ability to decide in war for instance if you feel the opposition will use an air attack, so you'd enable him Gravity spell for instance. Or if you feel you need to get through a few walls, you could cloak the wall breakers to get through the first wall and hit internal ones, this will then allow your other troops to hit the first wall. *NOTE* Veterem (The Old One) would have to be near them to do this, you can't have him cast like standard spells.

    - What kind of army composition includes this unit or, how it could combine with other units for more advanced strategies
    You could send him in at the front of the attack when using the freeze or force spell, or have him stand back a little to use the cloak or gravity spells (longer range spells), due to a relatively low HP you'd need to have a golem, or a few giants around him to stop a heavy attack on him.

    - How someone could redo their base to protect against attacks from this unit
    You would need to make sure that he needs to get in the mix to make his spells useful, so base designs would have archer towers at the edge, and if he is defending you would put him around the middle with a gravity spell or a freeze spell. This would work as he could freeze an attack to allow defence to have a 3 second window of attack.

    Probably a bad idea lol

    Just thinking as well for troop link, maybe a fifth spell (Range) which allows him to get involved with the archers, wizards etc to increase their range.

    Also he wouldn't be-able to affect the other two heroes, if he ends up by himself then he has the ability to cast standard wizard attacks with a slightly harder punch.

    Kinda imagine him with a big white hair style with a purple strain through it, and a white staff. long black outfit that drags behind him.

    Also to not make it a chore with DE, maybe it's just Elixir for him
