use elixir for walls

It too much stress on the gold for the walls on defense when u reach higher lvl. Lvl 8 walls is alot for the gold alone to survive and the elixir is the wasting on nth to build. if the elixir Can be use to build lvl 8 walls it will be easier for maxed town hall 8 to upgrade to th 9 as it dun require too much gold and the elixir will be in good use too instead of being there for ppl to attack. Hope this can be implemented on the next update.

I believe this idea was previously added but then removed, due to many people using elixir and leveling up walls in super fast time. Since Supercell has already have a change, I strongly doubt they will change it back to the way it was. Even though I'm a TH 8 and can only upgrade with gold, I am not against Supercell's decision as it adds more balance to the game.

I also agree with supercell's decision. Using elixir makes it more scarce

Actually, the Elixir upgrading was simply bumped up to a minimum level of 9 instead of 6, which is what it originally was. It was never removed.

This allows people to upgrade faster and meaning better base if u wanted to save the elixir and upgraded ur town hall , there will be more lousy base and it adding more pressure on building up th 9. So when everything is upgraded, i am drowning in elixir and i could only let it be taken away ans yet there is nothing i can do about . It really very wasted. 500k+ elixir was lost everything i was attacked. I know elixir is rare in higher lvl but i am talking about this lvl

I think they handled this all wrong. Elixir should be able to be used to upgrade ALL walls, starting at level 1. BUT! At twice the cost of gold.

YES, I FULLY AGREE. Or th 8 should be allowing to upgrade to lvl9 walls at least elixir is able to be spend somewhere
