Solution against Th sniping problem - more LOOT in PvP

First let me explain the situation for how I see it; currently there are tons of players who put their TH outside for an easy defence. Now, I see this as a problem simply because what those who snipe their TH do is HIDE the resources from the PvP field and allow less loot in the game to be raided.
I don't think the purpose of the game is to get a shield that easily but to EARN it through a defence.

Now, what could be done against TH sniping? Well I thought about two solutions to fix or at least dramatically reduce their number.

    1. Make the TH position a fixed one in the centre of the base, in FARM base only.
Explanation: The position of the TH would be fixed in the centre of the base, so when you hit the Edit Layout option for the Farm Base it wouldn't be removable any more but would be fixed in the centre of the area.
Preview: http://i.imgur.com/4p4aKli.jpg - that would be the fixed position of the TH.

    2. Make the TH position a fixed one BUT in a certain radius in the centre area, in FARM base only.
Explanation: The position of the TH would be a fixed one within a certain range, with around 3 more space in each corner than the solution number 1.
Preview: http://i.imgur.com/99n9ppV.jpg - that would be the range within you can move your TH.

Note:These two solutions are ONLY for the Farm Base, in your War base you will be able to put your TH wherever you want it to be.

Please let me know what you think about this idea.

No, just no. That would screw not just farm bases but also hybrid bases

It's important that active players retain the ability to protect their loot. It is perfectly fine that people are shielding their storage loot because transferring loot from one person's storage to another's creates no loot and thus has no impact on the economy. Loot comes from league bonuses and collectors. The more league bonuses that are created and the more full collectors that are raided the more loot there will be in the economy. Active players (i.e. people that gather from their own collectors without ever letting them get full) do not need to be fully raided since no additional loot would be created so letting them get their town halls sniped for the league bonus is fine. This is one area where the game is working very well.

Don't like the idea personally. If I want to hide my loot, there is nothing wrong with that. I get to keep my loot, and the sniper gets to get his stars and loot bonus. It would be horribly hard to save anything if we couldn't do this. I would be storage raided constantly, and I would have to raid all of my loot within one sitting if I wanted to keep it.

I log in about once every hour, and attack one time with barch. I will usually get around 100-150k of each, then I will log off without my shield. If I have over 2 mill. resources, I'm going to get raided for at least that much, and now the work I've put in attaining that loot is wasted. There is one solution to this problem though: putting my Town hall outside my base for an easy shield. Except, you're trying to ruin that. In the end this would hurt a lot more than it would help.

Wait, so let me understand this correctly, you want to... get rid of farming?

Yes, we do limit the amount of available loot by giving free THs, and by result free shields. But we aren't removing the loot from the market. Those who shield us also have the chance to attack and get the loot, it's the fact that they chose not to.

Stupid idea, people would just build bases on the side instead. Plus is limits base design which is obviously bad. You didnt even bother looking at other peoples suggestions like shields only being given after a certain % is lost or by not giving loot bonus to th snipers or something along those lines.

You also do not address the unwanted consequences like exorbitant trap costs. And another thing is your perception of what this would achieve is misconcieved, as others have said th sniping is 'good for the economy'. It is pretty much the only type of raiding that is 'good for the economy'. I personally think something needs to change with th sniping but not for the sake of the 'economy'. Its not like a real economy, sc can easily keep loot in fluctuation constant anyway so such arguments are moot, I think it needs to be fixed for gameplay reasons. But sc would rather presrlerve the status quo which works than change it and risk breaking the game so we probably wont have any changes.
