Think about it... I get pushed, I pushed back, or have you not noticed. Only reason why this thread is overtaken by this idea is because I hate how it is grouped with the OP's idea and passed off in what I see is a close minded defaco automatically wrong. It comes off as more arrogant and insulting than what pointed words I've used so far.

So yes, I'm insulting you. Because you are insulting me with your comments. Big deal. We are humans and have emotions. It should say something that I finally lost my patience and became uncivil, given how I normally act.

Reply in quotes, which personally I hate to do, but can't organize things any better way right now.
Go make your own thread you may get support or you may not. Solves all issues.
    Sound good?

First sensible comment I've read for my argument.

But rather discouraged right now to bother, since my last 'great idea' moved from a thread people argued over, http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...-Automatically and is arguably better than the OP of the thread it came from, has been totally ignored.

Maybe later, if I remember. Kinda don't want to do much after calming down from being ticked off.

Well I support that idea actually.

It's not just the kids overwhelmed by the increasing complexity. Busy adults aren't finding time to come back to the game to say that they are going to be busy this weekend.

Leaders need to be able to unset old opt-in settings.

    Green = want to war
Red = Don't want to war

Grey = war locked, you should probably kick that guy

what do you find so confusing about that?

Grey = unset. Player probably hasn't logged in.

The game is a competition where the penalty for not doing well is losing to the ones that do. For those that say its too hard, they need to take a look at themselves and ask if seeing it that way means they lack the management skills to be an effective leader.

There should only be in or out, no middle ground

There should never be any reset in any way, not to all in (benefits me) nor to all out (benefits others) and certainly not to 'neither'. Any of those choices will only benefit one faction while hurting another.

The option that really helps everyone and leaves the choice for all clans to manage how each sees fit is to have the leaders choices on the Choose Members/Start War page able to stick and also set the button on the persons profile. This includes if they make choices but then exit without starting.

    • A leader that is not sure about someone can opt them out and leave it to them to opt back in (serving the purpose that 'unsure' option would have).
    • A leader that wants an unreliable member out that is too lazy to hit their button (and the leader for whatever reason doesn't want to give the kick that often deserves) can just set it themselves.
    • A leader that wants his whole clan to re-vote can go right down the list at any time after a given war has started (so back to back clans can get this carried out during a war to be prepared for next to start right away) and opt everyone out so that everyone has to opt back in to explicitly say they want the next one.

And any other way they want to do it. If they make this one change it meets the needs of all the people on this thread one way or another despite their differing opinions.
