    Lightbulb Increased Time For War Raids To 4 Minutes

    Apologies if this has been suggested before...

    I understand the need to have some form of timer for raids. However, I have seen many beautifully creative raids fall short because of time.

    Pros
    - Added creativity to game play
    - Greater flexibility in combo choices
    - Greater competition potential in Wars due to greater distributional scoring potential
    - Fun!

    Cons
    - Are there any cons??

    Saw this just now. Posts seem to slip in IFR.
    I don't see anything wrong with this idea. Its actually a good idea. War raids are more important than any other raid and having a flexible time can be the difference between another star.
    Also, its not like the player is blocked from entering his village during the attack (which is, I believe the real reason for the existence of the timer).

    I have a small suggestion though.
    The addition of another minute should only be for Town Halls with level 9 and above.
    So, only if the defender is TH9+, there will be a 4 minute timer.
    The other Town Halls bases don't require this much time to be honest.

    I like it. I've missed out on 3 star victories several times due to the clock running out on me.

    Selfishly, I'd say no .... many times i've had a star saved against me when the clock runs down ......


    Perhaps at th10, with so many extra defenses to overcome, plus the higher levels - but if you believe the whning cry babies bicthing for a nerf on lavaloon, there is no need there either, as lavaloon with rage should blitz you with time to spare..............
    Supercell neutered my beloved Zaps.... Oh well, adapt and survive... Now BAMing in a league near you, with max rage...

    I have had many raids end at 99% because of time, however I am not for increasing the amount of time for a raid. 4 minutes is a really long time to do a raid. Part of the game is planning your attacks to 3 star in the time limit. Take into account if you were hit by a hog raid and after your defenses went down a giant bomb killed all of the hogs, with the 3 minute time that would be a one star attack. But if you add in an extra minute that gives the heroes ample time to break through all the walls and get at least a 2 star which I don't think is fair to the defender.

    That is kind of the point. The game is pretty much all about blitzing. Smart slow play should be a viable tactic. Besides, I don't know if I agree with your lava loon and rage point, but that digresses from purpose of suggestion.

    I don't disagree with this point. Thank you for making it. This supports TheCulprit's thought of making it available only for TH9+.

    Instead of a fixed time increase, how about leaving the raid times as is, and implementing something like a 30-second increase bonus in raid time once say all defenses are destroyed?
