i agree mate.thanks for your kind response. i understand that this journey is too far than i thought. I'll fix all things up. I'll wait for my next move. I just got distracted from rushed th9 made me thinking why not me?. I also loved archer queen who destroyed my dark elixr storages when all other troops got destroyed by my defense suddenly she comes out of no where and steal the show. I wanted to do that to others.It seems I need to wait for my queen

She is awesome and frustrating at times, but it will be well worth the wait.

So you ask a question, they tell you no - max everything - then you say maxing everything is a waste of time.........then do what you want and quit asking for help. Sounds like you are impatient and wanna do what you wanna do - then do it. OR you can listen to everyone and max everything. I didn't max walls to skulls - only half of them before I went to th 9. But trust me - 2 maxed dark racks is very helpful. Also you will have an abundance of elixir so max your racks.

I upgraded early to TH 10, worst decision ever. I cannot raid effectively as the only bases I can effectively attack are lower level and therefore I get a smaller percentage. In wars, I was bumped up to one of the top guys in my clan but my attacking is not even close to where it should be. Costs more to do raids, overall a big frustration. The improved (more defensive structures) doesn't mean anything if you cannot get enough loot from raids and wars to defend.

Besides, if you have defensive structures and upgrade, you are going to work on the new things (cheaper things) and you will get quite overwhelmed with how much you really have to upgrade when adding all the new stuff.

Here's what I think:

Wiz towers, cannons, mortars, air d should definitely be maxed

You can get away with archer towers 9 and teslas 4, but you're much better off doing them. Walls should be at least all level 7. (Better walls protect resources as much as xbows and other defense)

Troops - do your balloons to 5, and your hogs and minions to 4 if you can. Trust me. Golems 2 are a help too. Once the BK is at 5, the troops are more important than hero upgrades. Many people make that mistake, and repeat it at TH9.

At least 2 barracks should make PEKKAs, and having both barracks make golems is very helpful.

hi guys, i would like to know if i am ready to upgrade my townhall to level 9 as i don't want this to backfire me(due to some loot warning and townhall rush etc.,). My current th8 status is given below:

mortar: all max(lvl 6)
wizard tower: lvl 4(all)
air defense:lvl 5(all)
cannon: lvl 10(all)
archer tower:lvl 9(all)
camp: 200(max)
barracks: lvl 10,lvl 9, lvl 8, lvl 8
gold,elixr storage:lvl 11(all)
dark elixr storage: max(lvl 4)
dark elixr drill: max(lvl 3 all)
gold, elixr collector: lvl 9 all
dark barracks: lvl 4, lvl 1
barbarian king: lvl 10
hidden tesla: lvl 2(all)
wall: lvl 7, few lvl 6


my game level,XP: 72


any suggestions?

I say max everything, that's what I did - including walls. And as for troops I would max them out also, I missed maxing my golems, valks and minions at th8 because I also thought I'd never use them but it turns out they're somewhat crucial to wars and minions for both war and raid. Best to do everything now than later because of the loot advantage. You'll max out TH10 eventually anyways, why not slow down and enjoy the game?
