Seperate box for clan rules.(Clan read only)

I read the sticky about the rejected ideas and found the idea about a text box that only members of the clan can read. I think this can be really helpful for clan organization. I know in my clan which now has 40+ members the logistics of making sure every single new person knows our rules and war strategy is getting pretty tough. It would be really helpful to post these things in a seperate box. And we really don't want to give the other clan our war strategy pre war because they can fill their clan castles according to our attack troops.

is there a certain reason why ruled out. I don't see any bad consequences for it. And it seems like it would be a minor programming change. Am I missing something?

People might but offensive comments in the box and it would be a lot harder for supercell to catch them. Instead of join clicking "view clan" supercell would actually have to send admins in some kind of search mode to see it. So it would be a lot more trouble an their part, and I don't see how this would help anything. Why not just post the clan rules on your description?

as to why it's ruled out....


this particular idea doesn't pop out much in IFR (compared to resource trade/donate and anti DE zap ideas)
so I don't see much discussions on it

Stuff in the clan is whatever the clan wants to do. SC does not go into clans and police the text in clan channels, since the small groups of people can handle themselves however they like, and can leave if it is too offensive.

I say a clan only text box with extra details would be great. Not everyone needs to know all the finer details of clan operations while doing a clan hunt, and the current one is just so limiting. Give us some extra space, please!

Sounds good to me.... If it's private for the clan, then there is no issue regarding 'inappropriate or offensive' complaints... ( and opt in/out for war was also ruled out, so it's possible) perhaps a slight rewording. .... how about a 'clan only' tab?
