I like the DOT bomb is really smart actually, it would be stronger on slow units and would be easier to counter with a heal than a normal bomb but should do a bit more dammage total, the thing then is to ensure that the troops dont stand in it for long periods to take less dammage than other traps.
as for the slow tower, I think this is coming eventually, could also weaken thier attack power slightly like an anti rage (subdue tower or impeding slime tower) I dont think you can really equate Skeleton traps to this mechanic as skeleton traps cause troops to change focus while slow trap or tower would literally just slow down the troops making them take longer to get to a target.
