This had probably been said befor but will there be an increase to the goblin map including dark elixir as a reward?

no, I believe adding DE to goblin maps has been discussed before

and it came to that, it won't happen because it will promote passiveness in TH7 (for BK)

But if map get extended u could make it so that u would need to be th8 or th9 to beat them and only have the dark elixir as a 3 star reward so would also help people work on war attacks if the ratio of defense was more like th8 th9 and th10 depending on the lvl of map you are up to

yes that's possible

I do hope they extend the maps, no solid news yet though :/ (I think there are "plans")
