Leading the purge in purge~a~maniacs.....everybody can't be a purger these days. Check out the recruitment thread though (Purge~a~maniacs)
I promise that is something you can control and if you learn it you can direct any troop better.
1. Clear enough outter buildings that king will go center, not all buildings need to come down on one side in all cases.
2. Get the king deployed BEFORE inner buildings get taken down or pekka/king will still go outside
Tip:
I don't use wallbreakers or jump in most cases I make sure my wizards will punch a little hole in the wall. As soon as that hole opens I drop pekkas and heros. If enemy cc deploys I use a rage exactly where I want troops to enter base, (dual purpose rage.)

My advice is upgrade all troops if you love war..

king usually goes outside, queen shoots walls. if you direct him right it works. but it seems like he goes outside more than any other troop
