This freezing friends tab issue is obviously a widespread and well reported problem yet when I messaged supercell support with the problem they replied it must be on my end and sent me on a wild goose chase resetting my device, disabling Bluetooth and about 5 other useless and time consuming tasks. Why would they do that when they know very well it's not on my end. I find this such an aggravating habit of theirs. It seems they never take responsibility for issues first. Their automatic response is always oh it must be you. Nick will occasionally post something saying they are aware and will look into it but you never get that response from support. Grrrrr. Just fix the problem and quit passing the blame!

The same thing happened to me Songwood. I think it's a case of one department not communicating with another. Support has a standard script to work from that sadly isn't very helpful in situations like this. At least we've received acknowledgement in this thread from a mod that confirms the team is aware of the problem.
I'm playing on an iPad, IOS 7. I tried the generic troubleshooting advice offered by support without success, so there's nothing left to do but wait. Hopefully a fix is on its way soon.![]()
this happens to me too. since the derby updates, i can't get to my friend lists. it always freezes and i end up close the app then open it again. i can't see who needs help and stuff! please fix this asap it's kinda annoying.
My game freezes too when I try and open the friends tab. Generally the whole game is losing connection on a regular basis since the last update.
Every time I click my Friend bar, my game freezes so I can't access other farms needing help, my neighborhood farms, friends' farms, or Followers' farms. Anyone else having this problem or have a suggestion for solution? Problem just started today. Appreciate feedback. Thanks!

Trader in the trade thread ran into this. We were unable to complete our trade as she was unable to navigate her friend list at all everything froze as soon as she brought it up. I'll suggest to you the same I suggested to her. Make sure hayday is linked to google + FB or gc. Factory reset your device reinstall hayday and see if that helps. I find my old 3GS phone has to go through this about once every 2-3 updates.
Not it sure if it helped her I haven't chatted since yesterday.
