If if they implemented this then your clan members would be like WHO ARE YOU AND WHO GAVE YOU CO!

then you would say, "hey guys it's me .........., I have been here for 2 months"

and they hey would kick you out.

so you don't want this

this wouldn't happen in a clan that communicates

I REALLY want to change mine.. (and I could, because my full name is in it) but like I said.. I'm pretty sure its to keep people from selling accounts.

Other than that and an hour of coding, Idk why else they wouldn't allow it.

But there are odd cases like mine , I had clash when it first came out , thought the game was stupid , but still downloaded it anyway because it was free and back then I was still technically a kid and had no money so a free game was like a "gem" and i was like wooooohoooo another free game collection .. didn't open it or delete it..but
one day I let my younger brother play my ipad .. yea he open the app and put his name on it.. "anthony"

I was like meh oh well , and he started a few upgrades and tutorials etc.. and then i came back every few days to upgrade something used the free gems.. and then i finally got to th8.. with lvl 5 gold walls and stuff and it became too hard and I quit ..like I didn't even know how u can predcit how much loot u can get.... fast forward late 2014 re downloaded the game with apple id recovery .. and started again and somehow i started getting hooked up . Maybe the age differences.

Then I started to get into clans and global and etc. The seemingly name that didn't bother me before...was actually starting to bother me. But I didn't want to start over.. it was continue or quit . Because I always see a "you" when chatting it was meh ,but when clan mates/globals says "anthony" it just feels really weird to be called my brother's name. Especially that it wasn't even capitalized !

I asked Supercell many times, one time they even said "Even if you keep emailing us , we just won't respond back"
after i said You'd lose a customer for life if you don't change my name . They just simply don't care. And yea .. I should've quit , but the time i spent can't be recovered back. So i kept playing , but to this day I'd even rather paid for a name change.

I messed up my name. And supercell does not want to change it: C we should be able to change it once you have played the game over a year.

There will be a new update. Just go to help and support on your clash of clans setting and search "change" and you will see that it will happen.
