So I'm sure you've all notice the trouble with global; the noobs begging you to join their clans even if you are already in one. I'm the type that just wants to go on to chat with some new people, talk strategy, rate some bases, etc, etc, but its hard to do with noobs spamming. So I have had some thoughts about revising Global. Feel free to add on.

I was thinking we should have 2 globals, one the actual global chat, the other more of a message board. The message board is the place you post, asking for people to join and if someone is looking for a clan, they can go to the board and look. I think it would be a cool idea also if they allowed automated messages, where the post would tell others the level of your clan, member count, war wins, and a brief custom message of your own, basically giving a quick summary of your clan so people looking at the board can see a quick overview of all the clans instead of having to look individually, one at a time. Also, a 10 minute limit should be set in place so that people can't spam the board, they have to wait 10 minutes to post again.

Now I know what you are all thinking, how is this going to solve the problem of people posting about their clans in global? Well for one, most people looking for a clan will go to the board, so people will just naturally want to go where the possible recruits would be. Also I was thinking there would be a "Report Player for Spam" button, something only to be pressed when the person is spamming global with demands to join their clan. Yes, I know this could be abused, and I've put some thought into the matter of how to reduce abuse of the Report button. For one, there could be a 5-10 minute cooldown after hitting the report button. For two, there could also be an option where the one reported for spam, after being banned from the global, can choose to say "I wasn't spamming!" in which case a moderator would review the case and the ban would be lifted or stay in place. Another possible way to go about all this would simply be to have moderator, volunteers of Supercell, patrol the global and handle any spam, with a way for a player to call a mod. Yet another option is to not add any reporting methods at all, block any players who may spam and hope everyone uses the board for recruiting. I have a feeling most will side with the last one..

These options may seem rash or imperfect, and they very well might be, but take it how you will. I'm very open to suggestions, comments and concerns, and look forward to any and all feedback, please keep it polite though. I tend not to respond to rude, hateful comments.
