On regular base page, the war map icon should display when someone is attacking

a green number reflecting how many current attacks would represent your clan, red numbers the enemy. Should be seen from the regular base page. Currently you cannot know if someone is attacking if you are working on your non war base.

I agree. That way I don't have to switch the page to see if someone's attacking me.

Ya I was looking at a war page today and missed an attack I wanted to see because I was at the base page instead

It's a small idea but rather more thoughtful than some of the ideas on the page

For some reason I don't see it, but there had been a post suggesting arrows pointing so you know if enemy or ur clan was attacking but that's why the color system was mentioned. Green for your clan, red for the enemy. No arrows would be needed.
