Yep. The only drawback (aside from a less than ideal game design) is you get zapped sometimes. Which is why zapping is good for the game. A small price to pay considering the alternative.

its a struggle every TH 8 goes though. I had that problem at TH 8.. i finally dropped down to G3 and S1. I found really good luck in S1 actually just barching. Not as much Dark, but plenty of other. Its part of the cycle that makes the game work. I just moved up to TH9 about a month ago and as a result I had to push up to G1 and C3 because the TH7s in S1 were not cutting it anymore. Until the last week I was struggling with the same thing you are speaking of again because I was essentially a TH 8 still. Just play with the trophy ranges...

I question your parenting skills as well as your game play. Real life is you win some AND you lose some! Maybe stop being a baby and understand that its just a game. YOU QUESTION MY PARENTING SKILLS?!?! Really? From a request on a game forum huh? You say you know kids and I have no concept of what children care about, right? Well I know a lot about what kids believe. Most children just want a fair match in whatever game they are playing, weather it be CoC or little league, or basketball! They understand that you win some and you lose some but as long as the game is being officiated fairly, then they take whatever result is given and are fine with it. I know this because I also coach children in these sports, and spend lots of time in my daughter classroom volunteering. I talk to them about lots of different things and also about CoC. They themselves say it's not right that someone from such a high level can come down to where they are at and loot their villages. But they do understand that it is part of the game. So you say that I'm the kind of person that thinks that every child should get a ribbon weather they win or lose, well yes I do because it builds self esteem and confidence. It's a proven fact! But those children also know if they excel in something they are going to get rewarded with something more, (bigger trophy, more money, whatever). So to me you seem like the kind of father that would never let their child win against you, no matter if it's a board game, basketball, or even a video game. of that's the case, then you need more help then you let on, because you're the one that's looking for the recognition and praise and can't let you your child feel good for even a moment. Every child likes to know that they can beat their father in something even if it's only one time. Good luck with that buddy, and I wish good luck to your child too, he/her are going to need it especially with a father like you!

i just finished maxing th8 and am at the beggining stages of th9, but i farm at about at about 680 trophys in bronze league and never attack besides having a little fun getting rid of 50 archers i dont need
the reason being is that 90% of the time i get attacked its a th sniper or some guy trying to 3 star me with 12 lvl 1 balloons :\
but the downside being all i ever get to attack is th4s, but i never attack anyway so i really could care less so to me
trophys/leagues = pointless leave it be
