Dart, is there anything in the layout of a base that you're looking to attack that would convince you to pick another base or another attack strategy? I spent the last few nights learning about Hogowiwi and logowiwi and the differences to look for in a base when choosing between them, and now I'm wondering if there's something in a base that would still make one of these strategies the preferred choice over the penta-lavaloon. The only concern I could notice you mention so far is the oddities of asymetrical AD's

Well that's a pretty complicated question. There are certainly elements to designs which can make them easier or harder to execute a 3 star Penta attack on. But at the same time I firmly believe Hounds are OP right now and, using the right method of deployment, I'm confident the strategy is strong enough to 3 star any TH9 base, assuming the plan is good enough. I'm actually working on a new method of deployment to overcome the latest wave of asymmetrical bases currently taking clan wars by storm. I'm tentatively referring to it as 'Surgical Penta' and although I'm not quite ready to make a tutorial for it yet, this is the concept in practice:

Your videos are awesome. I just tried pentalavaloon for the first time and got 2 stars on a maxed TH9, though my lava hounds are still lvl 1 (for 3 more days). Can't wait to try it out - and perfect it - with maxed troops!

Thanks for the video explanation, I just did my first run on a very new TH9 that didn't even have an AQ yet and it went quite well. Most of my balloons survived as well as one of the level 1 hounds, and a number of lava pups. I almost forgot my rages so that's why more didn't survive. It will take a bit of practice to get the timing down right since everything happens so fast but I can definitely see this attack carrying me for quite a while.

A good bump for a great player. I haven't known dart for long but he is the real deal. This is the man who got 21 stars in one week. He is definitely, in my mind, a war genius and has really helped not only the centum family but he has branched out and helped people outside of the family. Keep it up dart.
