Help me improve (mass dragon)

Hey I'm looking for a little advice on how I can improve my attack.

Keep in mind I am only a mid TH7 base, so I'm not sure if this attack was doomed to fail no matter what but I do kinda feel like I could have 3 starred it if done right. I'm just kinda looking for things that I did wrong and what you would change about the attack and maybe even the army I brought.

Since your Dragons are only level 2, I would suggest using lightning spells on an AD. Drop a lightning spell on an AD and then drop your Drags in a line along the other AD(s).

I think "Mass Dragons" is a "Mass Waste" of elixir. Adding lightning spells would only make it worse. I recommend changing strategies, because you will lose loot on clan wars instead of getting it if you use mass dragon.

Dragons are pretty much wasted if you're attacking a decent TH8 at TH7. The only way you'd be able to take down a decent base is if you can funnel the dragons to the centre of the base and this is not easily possible in the attack above and level 2 dragons (unless they have a stupid base design).

Try aiming for weaker bases and leveling your hogs, a variety of attacks are essential in wars.

Don't listen to the advice that dragons will not work. This is a classic 105 dragon configuration, and you did it pretty much correctly, except you should have had level 6 balloons in your CC. Drop the CC in the middle of where you dropped your drags when the AD engages your dragons. That's when I also like to drop my first rage spell, which speeds the balloons into the core to take out the ADs. I like to drop the heal and another rage in the core when the balloons (and presumably some drags) get there to seal the deal.
