    LIGHTNING RODS! (anti lightning strike defense!)

    I just got an idea that Super Cell should add Lightning Rods to the game!

    I think it would be a really good defense, what lightning rods do is when lightning is coming down the lightning goes to the lightning rod since its made of metal, and then it just gets sent into the ground, so it doesn't strike or hit anything!

    I think they should add it in as a 1 time use per purchase defense, like the bombs, and air bombs.

    Most of you can guess already what the Lightning Rod would do, IT PROTECTS FROM LIGHTNING STRIKES!

    If someone calls a lightning strike in on the small radius of the lightning rod, then the rod would pop out the ground like a mini hidden tesla and just absorb the lightning strike and the damage of it.

    MAYBE! It can even absorb the damage and then use it against any enemy troops that come at its radius like a mini tesla!

    I think the price can be something fair like 5,000 coins. Since the lightning strike is somewhat expensive and that it is a really strong spell that can take out things easily so it shouldn't be something just cheap like 500 coins for a lightning rod where everyone will constantly keep having it and make lightning strikes become useless.

    You unlock them at Town Hall 5.

    TH 5- 1 Lightning rod
    TH 6- +1 Lightning rod (2 Total)
    TH 7- +1 Lightning rod (3 Total)
    TH 9- +1 Lightning rod (4 Total)

    Then that's all the lightning rods you can get unless maybe 1 more for Town Hall 10? To make it 5 Total lightning rods?



    I felt like this was a great idea, let me know what you guys think!

    It should absorb only 1 lightning spell, I think you meant that

    Maybe the cost should be a bit more, the lightning spell costs like 40k,

    it should absorb every hit from one spell, and deal, say 30% of the damage from the hits to the buildings that would be affected (overcharge, this spell is very powerful)

    oh, and, this is on the sticky, please read your category before posting an idea

    This has been suggested a million times and is in the sticky. If they do add it, there needs to be a max of one per base, regardless of TH level, or they might as well just remove the lightning spell from the game.

    This has been covered endless times...so let me add my $0.02.

    Now a single lightning spell consists of 6 bolts/strikes. I would offer a solution modeled after the bomb and giant bomb.

    First the lightning rod. size: 1x1. Trigger radius similar to a bomb. Absorbs 1 or 2 strikes or a small amount of damage, say 40 or 80. 1 time use item destroyed in the process. relatively cheap like a bomb. available at th5.

    Second the lightning tower. size: 2x2. Trigger radius of large bomb or slightly greater. Absorbs more strikes/damage, say 350. 1 use item destroyed by the lightning. Expensive like giant bomb. available at th7.

    I can't. There are just too many!

    Actually i'm perfectly happy with the status quo. However, there have been so many threads with half baked solutions that I fear SC will throw something out there simply to mollify the 'whiners'. So I felt compelled to offer what I feel is a reasonably balanced solution.

    When attacking, the lighting spell it to burn Mortar, Wizard Towers, Air Defence or CC troops...
    This ideas of lighting rod or similar like this has been talking for very long time to SC..

    Really hope that, SC come out a something could from lighting spells from resources (especially dark elixir)
    Some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ed noobies, just use 3 level 4 lighting spell and they took my dark elixir like 1.8k to 2k
