Bring back 500k elixir wall upgrades!

My lvl7 walls really dont matter against a gowipe as much as my lvl7 teslas do, extra tesla too btw...
Lvl7 or 8 walls both take 2 WB from lvl5 or 6 WB. So yes its just for show, lvl9 walls are effective since they take 3 lvl5 WB to break but no noticable difference between lvl7 and lvl8. Race or not its about smart game play. And to deprive yourself of the emense amount of benefit from TH9 for the minuet amount of bonus that a lvl8 wall can give compared to lvl7. Well thats just silly.

Sorry, I should have clarified. I don't mean at the beginning of GoWipe. I mean during the attack. Pekkas get into the core easily with WB, or Jump spell. But with strong walls, they don't get out. It causes the raid to stall.

I agree with you about the initial part of the attack though. WB's are going to blow up whatever they want as long as you time the mortar shells, etc. But after the troops are in the core, all WB's are generally spent, and the troops that make it into the core, have a better chance of dying there with upgraded walls.

Considering he's headed straight into defending against GoWipe quite a bit, I'd argue that walls are not just for show. And when he gets to TH9, and starts spending gold on other things, he's going to wish he'd just waited another week.

I agree with your point about troops, though. And I also agree that it's pretty lopsided at TH8. Being a little off can be handled by managing your upgrades. But TH8 isn't even close.

I doubt anyone wants to hear this, but I think they should make the elixir upgrades cost more.

Lvl9 walls ya theyll stop a slow moving pekka. But at TH9 its valks>pekka anyways. Only lvl10 walls give me trouble other than that my 2 or 3 stars are determined by defense level more so than wall level.

back to the main point. 500k elixir walls largely contributed to the bad economy we experienced only a few updates ago

♥♥♥ are you talking about? No one is defending GoWipe attacks. We're saying that because of the greater number of them you will face at TH9, you should seriously think about upgrading your walls to keep them stuck in the core. Did you even read the posts?

Either way, I already gave you the cure: increase the cost of elixir upgrades.

And this thread isn't just about the resources being imbalanced. In your very own OP, you cried about the imbalance, and then you cried about not wanting to upgrade walls with overflowing elixir. Then the topic started to derail as people told you to just move to TH9. So I was trying to keep you on track with the importance of wall upgrades. Simple as that.

It's just frustrating sitting there with 6mil elixir haha. If I go TH9 now, I could spend all my elixir yeh, but I'd be spending all my Gold on other upgrades anyway so my walls will be stuck at the same level.

I thought I'd "get smart", and boost my barracks and train mass dragon. LOL, that was a waste of gems. I did manage to get rid of some elixir, but my gold intake suffered majorly. I don't recommend it. I'm sure others would disagree with good reason, but it sure as heck didn't work for me. I guess I'm just going to let them fill up. Not sure what else to do.
