New upgrading walls system

I didn't think anyone would spend gems just to do walls! That is the most costly thing you can spend gems on .... A much better way is to boost your barracks and farm hard for 2 hours ... You will make as much Gold and Elixir and it's only 40 gems

Okay, the root of the problem as far as the op is concerned is his ability to raid. As a fellow th7, I am almost finished upgrading my walls to level 7, which costs 200k per wall. What another has said, use spare gold looted during raids to apply to your walls.

And you also need to shoot for at least 100k of gold and elixir. If your barbarians and archers are not at level 4, then you need to do so. Your army camps also need to be maxed out, giving you 200 housing space for your army. As someone else said: fill half your army with barbarians and the other half with archers. You might also consider adding a large set of minions to the mix for better results If DE isn't an issue. But yea don't settle for small raids. Make use of that next button and find those large raids.

Being willing to hit the Next button is key.

I used to be a decent farmer, raking in a couple million gold/elixir per hour.

I don't know what happened, but somewhere along the way, I sort of forgot how to do it. Don't get me wrong, I was raiding like crazy, boosting barracks, winning most raids (1 star at least). But the loot was just so slow.

Then I realized what I was doing wrong. I was storage raiding, and settling for 100k raids. The elixir barely cover my army.

So I decided to be willing to hit Next more than just 5-10 times. One time I had to hit next over 50 times.

But you know what I found? I could find 200k+ collector raids that I could barch. Between the time spent nexting, and the time in the raid, I usually came back to full camps. Hooray! I made over a million gold/elixir in like 45 minutes just 2 nights ago.

Anyway, to the OP: get your barbarians and archers up to max level. Then just be willing to hit next. A lot. I was doing this between 1500 and 1700 trophies, but I seem to remember it being pretty much the same around 1200-1400 trophies. Dead TH8 bases are the best. I'll sometimes clear over 300k gold.

It feels kinda cheap to be barching dead bases, after you've spent weeks doing storage raids against active bases. But whatever, the loot is better, and it takes a way cheaper army.

IM just getting finished with skulls.. at 500k a pop it does take a long time! looking forward to being able to use both resources on walls again but honestly Its not needed before that, just do all your elixer upgrades at the same time as your walls and both should finish together, then work on your gold upgrades and use expensive troops and lab to drop extra elixer...
