Clan ready button (skip preparation day)

Hi all, first post so nice to meet everyone!

I was thinking a nice feature would be a button added to war on preparation day that would allow you to say the clan is ready. The option would only be available to the clan leader and the co-leader who initiated the war. Once the button is pressed by both teams battle day would begin. If the button is not pressed by one or both teams, the normal 24 hour period would apply.

This would add a few benefits. A lot of time my clan spends a few hours strategizing followed by a lot of doing nothing until battle day. That would be eliminated. This would also increase war frequency adding more available loot to the game and raising the clan's ability to gain xp.

Any feedback is appreciated and I apologize if this is a repost.

I personally like the idea, but some clans may have no players online at the period, and when the battle day starts, they wouldn't be able to attack.

    Agree!

Good idea. We always fill in warmap troops pretty fast and waiting 18h to enter the war day. If there would be a ready button, it would help to a lot.

Not sure if this will happen. Faster Wars=More loot supercell has to pay out.

Also note many people have many things to do during odd hours as you suggest

I personally think that this is a great idea. I often train my army after I've done a quick scout of the enemy I'll be attacking, and have it ready with 18 hours until war. As to the problem of people not being able to attack because of 'odd' hours, normal war times could have that same problem. Seeing that only a leader or Co can use this option, a clan with a good leader would get his clans opinion on starting early, preventing those problems. I see no cons to this idea, and it seems fairly easy to implement. The one thing I must say is that both clans would have to agree to stay early, not just one.

The nice thing about battle day is that it is 24 hours so everyone can still attack. Plus you would get a push notification if you have it on.

it is definitely up to leadership make sure the clan is ready for battle day. Again if either clan prefers they can just wait the 24 hours for war to begin.

it would increase loot in the game as well, but this isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I was planning to start a thread on this once i had this idea and did a quick search to find this thread. This is a wonderful idea and should be looked at immediatly.

I think this is a great idea but it is limiting the use of it by only allowing the leader of co-leader who initiated the war to be able to skip preparation day. I think it would function better if any leader could use it. I believe the essence of the co-leader is to make it as close as possible to having more than 1 leader and any leader should be able to have total control of the clan since he leads the clan. This is why it is so important to find good, trustworthy, co-leaders.

I personally like the idea, but some clans may have no players online at the period, and when the battle day starts, they wouldn't be able to attack.
This is not a problem at all to vote against this idea. This does not force both clans to skip the preparation day. What can be done is to allow the leader to be able to click the ready button once he or she determines that the clan castles have been filled. I believe most people do not spend most time strategizing during the preparation day since most people have become accustomed to coming up with a strategy in 30 seconds from multiplayer attacks and also to learn to adapt as soon as something goes wrong with strategy.
Anyway this would only skip the preparation day if both clans were ready not if only one clan clicks it. Therefore both leaders are aware of their clans ability to start the war. Also the battle day is 24 hours so whether players are active at certain periods during the day does not matter since they can attack any time during 24 hours.

Not sure if this will happen. Faster Wars=More loot supercell has to pay out.

Also note many people have many things to do during odd hours as you suggest
Supercell does not lose very much if anything at all by doing this because most of their payment comes from the very top players who are already maxed out and at that range you can see that they all have a lot of resources due to the high amount of bonus loot for their attacks. Those resources also come out of supercell so this would not hurt them at all since most of their paying customers that pay a lot only pay to speed up things like this.
As for the point of people having to do things at certain hours i believe other people have already answered that. It is not a problem because battle day is 24 hours. No matter when the war starts they will have 24 hours to attack. Same problem occurs in normal wars people still have things to do at odd hours. People don't magically start having things to do at certain time periods if their is a method to save time.
