Rushing

Hey guys, I'm new to the CoC Forums but not new to foruming! Well, I'm a TH7 and I am on my way to TH8 once I get to TH8 I will only be upgrading my offense like troops, barracks, king, spells, etc. and then go to next Townhall. Me personally I get bored after a while so I wanted to give myself a objective, a goal. Tell me what you guys think of my decision.

So I take it your rushed your TH? That can be pretty difficult to fix, but choosing to try and max is the best thing to do. I wish you luck

If you are really active and you can farm enough to keep your builders busy, then go for it. You'll be extremely underdeveloped since you'd be skipping TH8 defenses which is two full levels, but if you upgrade your farming army at least you should be ok. I'm hoping you don't war much because you'll be easy prey for 3 stars

Well, I am mostly interested in attacking people and I love doing it and coming up with my own tactics, so that's why I'm doing it.

Rushing isn't something I did luckly, I would suggest against it.
Remember once you rush there is no going back.

There are those that argue rushing is ok. I think they are special players who are extremely active.

for everyone else it's a bad idea. The game is moving towards more clan wars. Even if you can 6 star your opponents, you will get 3 starred in return. Many clans will reject you as you'll provide little value to them.

personally I think you should rush right up to th10, nevermind all the levels of defences, etc. then come up to Crystal 2 and crystal 1 so I can steam roll your base with my BARCH. You'll be one of those i hit 2 stars and 85% destruction with level 7 barbs and archers....but it's your call.

At TH8 it takes longer to do your troops in the lab then it does to upgrade your defence. Even if that wasn't the case I still wouldn't recommend rushing.

Going up a little early is fine. Just be sure it's not too early.

And he won't have any loot for you to steal because he can easily dump it into his walls or low level defenses.

But yeah TH9 unlocks loads more attack types so it's definitely a sweet spot in clash, if attacking and trying new things is something you like and get entertainment out of, go for it man. Queen is awesome

♥♥♥♥-then two months later he will make a new thread saying he cant find loot and unable to save enough loot for upgrades and that he is now quitting because supercell is greedy.

I did that.... did not go well. Ok so I only upgraded the troops/spells that I used, didn't upgrade all the barracks and the king had no special abilities so he stayed low (lvl2 maybe) . ... don't mention walls.

I recovered, but it was much harder than it should have been.

But certainly I would max defenses at TH8 before upgrading
