    Dragons Stomping TH7

As a TH7 it seems like no matter what base design one has level 2 dragons will always 3 star (given a decent deployment). Even as a maxed out TH7 I was 3 starred constantly by level 2 dragons. I don't like the idea that in a clan war someone can copy and paste an attack on every TH7 base and 3 star everytime. My solution to this problem is simple; make level 2 dragons available at TH8. A well designed TH7 base can survive a level 1 dragon attack so now using dragons is situational not an automatic 3 star. One major problem arises from this; what if you are TH 7 and already have level 2 dragons? Again a simple solution. Once that person advances to TH8 they will automatically get their level 2 dragons and in the meantime their dragons go back to level 1. This is my solution to what I consider to be a problem with game balance. What are your thought? Also, did I use semi-colons correctly? I'm interested in both.

Ok, your easy grammar question first -- I think that a lot of your semi colons could be replaced with either full colons (to offset your idea) or just made into two sentences. Semi colons are kind of like fake plants -- they look nice up to a certain extent, but they don't actually do anything.

So to address your actual point about dragons. I think that the system is fine how it is -- you might need to revise your base layout or what is in your clan castle. Also, there are plenty of ways mass dragons can go wrong -- unfortunately I can attest to this!

Best grammar advice I've heard in YEARS

OP, make sure you protect your air defenses well. You can try browsing anti-air bases anywhere on the internet. If that doesn't help, don't worry because dragons don't do too much at th8.

It is true. No matter what th7 base you have, lvl 2 dragons get 3 stars. Maybe Supercell could add the 3rd AD on th7? Or maybe more seeking mines.

Which makes perfect sense to me. Sounds right.

yes i agree too...th7s with level 2 dragons are way too overpowering....they even 3 star th8s too...by zapping one air def...and full drags for remaining 2

Level 1 dragons can't 3 star a maxed TH7 base? Did they change something recently?

I've been getting 3-stars on early TH8's (i.e., maxed TH7's with a 3rd AD) with level 1 dragons. I really don't see how a TH7 could prevent 3 stars against an attacker who knows what he's doing.

That said, I'm totally in favor of nerfing level 1 dragons. Even though I doubt what you said, that a maxed TH7 can prevent 3 stars from level 1 dragons, I am actually in favor of that being possible. So I would suggest nerfing level 1 dragons.

However, I'm also totally fine with level 2 dragons being able to completely obliterate a maxed TH7, because early TH8's rely on level 2 dragons for war against other early to mid TH8's. By making level 2 and 3 available at TH8, you're forcing early TH8's to wait up to a month just to get level 2 dragons. Why a month? Your priority upgrades are archers and barbarians for farming, and balloons before dragons for war, since level 5 balloons finally start to become useful in combination with dragons). That's 22 days, plus the time you wait for the lab to upgrade. Basically a whole month before you can have level 2 dragons, and then another 10 days before you can have level 3? Back to back upgrades, it would make level 2 dragons completely useless (well, except for those 10 days). The alternative is to upgrade balloons and dragons first (still 12 days), while having only level 4 barch for farming.

No, level 2 is here to stay at TH7. Best to live with it. And nerf level 1.
