Should donations level up a clan?

This includes war donations and normal donations.

To to make this work we would X the amount of XP required by 20 let's say and that would mean you would need 10,000 XP for level1.

we would times the clan war XP by 20 also and then say every 1 donation=1xp?

Do you think this could work and do you guys like the sound of it? Maybe a little higher than 10,000 XP, but make clan wars even more influential ?

The way I see your suggestion is that it would only complicate things. I quite like the way SC made this clan levels update; within few weeks any clan is capable to reach level 5, but only a few will reach level 10 and that is where the challenge is. I don't think they need to give clan xp for donations simply for how easy it is to spam those.

What would create a stupid war giant filling strategy

It take 2 minute for 4 giant 20xp with 4 barrack that how it work now.

Let say a clan of 50 person start a war. Fill the war castle with giant 50*20=1000 xp in 2 minutes clear the war castle and repeat. Create totally unbalance high level clan that only donate giant in their castle ad nauseam.

Yes, donations should level up a clan. Since most of the perks are directly related to donating, it would make sense that clans that donate a lot would get donation related perks.

It will not be possible to level up any clan to 5 in a few weeks. The first level is 500 and the second is 1200 the next will be much more and so on.

OP: I am not sure why people are so concerned about leveling up. There is nothing there that I want.
