Ok Ive read how to link another device say from iPad to iphone. Piece of cake. But can I play my one account now on both devices without having to switch it back and forth, can I just login from either device and it work?

Yes you can just log in just like you do on one device, but if you try to log on both then the first one gets forced off.
So it will work that way once they are sync'd? Sorry if the question is stupid.
I have my account on both iPad and iPhone. Once you connect with your GC it will give you an option to load your existing village.
Once it's loaded it's worked fine for me. As stated above, if you are logged in and playing on ypur ipad and try to log in on your phone, you will get an error message on your iPad and the game loads fine on your iPhone. And vice versa. I've not had it glitch in 5 or 6 months of bouncing around between both devices.

I was thinking of doing the same thing.... Until I find out that my wife is now addicted to Clash and she started a base on the tablet lol....
Now she is reminding me to upgrade her mortars before I go to bed lol!!!
