Who prefers to just chill at th9 for a while?

I maxed th 9 defenses a long time ago, I've finished traps earlier this year, and i finished lvl 9 walls in december.
I've been chilling at th9 the for a few months with nothing to do but upgrade heroes and i just finished a core of lavas.
I love hanging around and casually raiding... its fun not having the stress of keeping builders busy for sure.
I think i will stay th9 until i have 150 or so lavas and 50+ hero levels or i might max both.
However if th11 comes out, i will upgrade immediately.

I'm personally planning on doing what Tyrael did, and farming in Champs with Loonion for DE and upgrading walls along the way. If it looks like I'm going to get heroes maxed before walls, I'll switch to farming gold in Champs. Hopefully I'll get walls and royals done around the same time.

♥♥♥♥, wait till reality kicks you in the teeth...your not gunna get past M2 boy... champs for th9 doesn't happen in 1...2...3, and that strategy sucks, tried it myself. Yes you get DE, but don't expect any gold

Usually someone who asking the same question as OP is someone who wants to upgrade to th10 but afraid that other player will judge "you are too rush" "Why don't you max everything" and so on.

My suggestion is to go the way you feel more enjoyable. If you like to have the offensive force of TH10 then go for it. If you think grinding hero and wall is fun then stay.

I myself stay for the grind because it is still fun for me. But when I get bored I won't postponed anymore.

I stayed as 'max defense' TH9 for a good 2-3 months. Used the time to focus heavily on DE to pump up my walls and heroes, while catching up on outstanding lab jobs.

Eventually got bored of it though and upgraded. [Max lab, 25 heroes, 100 lavas at that point]

I think I'll take the word of the farmed maxed TH10 over the guy with less than 50 combined hero level.

Sucks being level 105 and still at 9, but whatever. At this rate, I'll be here for quite some time still...

I'm 108/TH9. Walls and Heros, not terribly fast either. Did the run up to masters, got my gems. That was somewhat interesting.

Same here, just started lavas, got 24 done. The end of the TH is my favorite time, don't get raided and raiding at a sweet spot.

But, the main reason for staying is my GoWiVa attack, it's perfected and a blast to pull off. Only use 8 valks, but they are the stars, shreading the core in seconds and then jumping out to get three stars.

ill put off th10 as long as I can, or if they make lvl 5 valks!

After reading this post I've decided what I'll do once my defenses are maxed (about 50 days away).
I'll finish my Lego's 1/5 now, get my LavaHounds and Golems maxed, hero's to level 20 and upgrade.
I like busy builders and find it unfulfilling watching them sleep away the day like unemployed poor people.
DE is easier to get at 10 with drills and easier to protect with infernos. Walls never end anyway.
