I can confirm that reverting to an older version (6.7.76) worked for me.

Things to be aware of when you do this

The last two items are a potential security hole. You are trusting that the package you received is what it purported to be an nothing else/more.

* You probably want to make sure you get the correct older version. The current version should be listed as 7.0.86 (1763202-xxx) in app settings and you should match the xxx in the older version. (I made sure to)

* You may have to disable Device Administrator status for Google Play Services (in app settings) before you can uninstall. This can be accessed by trying to disable the app. (I had to)

* You may be able to google for an older version (I did)

* You may have to enable Unknown Sources for app installation. (I had to)

* Disable automatic updates until this is fixed or you get to repeat the process.

after downloading the APK...you need to download in playstore APK installer. then just install the GPS APK. Before that pls ensure that you unistall the GPS updates.

Thanks a lot, i fixed it.

I removed all updates of Google Play service and installed an older version from http://www48.zippyshare.com/v/mad1cbGx/file.html

The issue is with Google play Services version 7.0.86.

Go to settings, application or application manager, look for Google play Services, uninstall upgrades of Google play Services and confirm you would like to return to the factory version. You should be able to get back to the game now. Do not install Google play Services updates until this issue is reported as fixed by Google.

For those with the factory reset version not working (it works OK in my Samsung Galaxy Note 4). You can also install aptoide and look for another version of Google play Services. I installed version 5.0.89 in my one plus one using aptoide and that resolved my issue too.

In my one plus one I have now Google play Services version 5.0.89.
In my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 I have now Google play Services version 6.1.88 and it works ok.

To install aptoide you can get the apk from here : http://m.aptoide.com/installer ( make sure you allow the installation of packages from untrusted devices).

Good luck. I have been able to load clash in my 2 phones now using the provided workarounds :

* Downgrade Google play Services to factory version

* install an older version using aptoide.

just unistall update from google play service.

my mine tab 10, open storage, used space,application,and find google play service and then unistall update.

note if unistall update button can't tap, tap turn off then notification for admin to deactive so uninstall button can you tap.
