So I go on global one day, just to recruit some members, and guess what I see?! A dude who says he wants to pick up girls! It's so annoying finding gamers who aren't even playing the GAME. GO ONTO ONE OF UR STUPID DATING PROGRAMS URSELF. U can't even report players anymore, and what's the use of muting when ur the only one doing it?! Ppl these days...

Every time u press the report button, ten sec later, the player just comes back.

You think ONE report should be enough to ban someone from global? It takes 7, and if 7 people aren't annoyed enough about it either mute or change global. Who cares what they're doing? Is it really that important to you?

You take screen shots of the chat, and profile (and clan?) and have them reported in the Help & Support feature.

What is wrong with dating people on CoC? As long as they are nice and not spewing obscenities in chat what is the problem? It's great that people are dating in the game. What better way to meet someone than while playing a game you both love? If you don't want to see it, just mute them. Problem solved. I didn't read anywhere in the EULA or TOS that said anything about NO DATING ALLOWED lol!! Further more, it is called "Global Chat" not "Recruiting Chat" so let people have their conversations about whatever they want as long as it is clean. Sounds like maybe you need a girlfriend or boyfriend to calm you down and relieve some of your built up hate and anger. Love you!

Technically... there are two or three spots in the Terms of Service that can be seen as effectively banning dating behavior in Clash of Clans.

You are supposed to be playing the game, not look for the love of your life or a fun time in a sexual manner.

Asking for personal information, info that can identify and location the person is against the ToS. I don't know about you, but it is hard to connect up in real life for the first time without asking for the other person's identification info, or place to meet up.

This is for ages 13 years and older game, and if it was meant to be a way to date others, there would be features for that. Supercell did not intended for CoC to be a dating app.

This is not to say I'm against dating. I am kind of a grown-up after all Just this isn't the place to look for partners.

woah woah woah, who said anything about talking about sexual things? 2 people talking about what they like or dislike in a calm polite way in chat is perfectly legal.

Who said anything about giving out personal information?! What is wrong with being "online" boyfriend/girlfriends? Most of the things i have seen is someone asking for KIK information, which cannot identify you. Or someone asking what country or state someone lives in. That isnt really giving out your exact location either.

And yes, the game is for 13 and older, that is about what age kids start dating or becoming interested in dating. Global chat is a "general" discussion area, and that is what SuperCell has made it for. You talk about whatever you want as long as it is clean and not vulgar. If they frowned upon people chatting about dating, There would be a note when you join global that specifically said that.

Let the people enjoy their chat how they like it. If it bothers you, then use your mute feature.

Game still isn't about dating, but general talk about things, including likes/dislikes are fine. Just don't cross that line where people try to make the game into something that it is not.

So yeah, seems fine with me, as long as people don't do any of the following I mentioned above. One thing to remember is that you have more privacy in clan channels, and can get more detailed on things, and talk about topics others would find exception with on Global.
