On Saturday Feb 28th we lost a long time player and close friend Dat_Mad_Guy. His passing was sudden and unexpected. He was a Father, Husband and one of the best Co-Leader's our clan has ever had. You will be missed my friend.

"LIBERTYVILLE - Michael John Glabowicz, 56, died suddenly on February 28, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Mary Clare, and son, Jack, who was his pride and joy; a sister, Noreen (Dan) Ziegler, of Crystal Falls, Michigan; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and his two loyal dogs, all of whom will miss him dearly. He was son of the late Norbert and Dolores (nee Howell) Glabowicz. A life-long resident of Libertyville, he graduated from Libertyville High School and was a member of St. Joseph's Parish. He started each day with a long walk through the village with his dogs in every kind of weather, the colder the better. Michael was an avid landscape gardener who took great pride in his garden at the family home on the Des Plaines River. His love of animals led him to rescue and rehabilitate all kinds of wildlife. "

Thanks man, he was with our clan for a year, feels like losing a brother. His son logged into his account Sunday morning to tell us he'd passed away. Everyone is heartbroken.

It may seem silly but our clan is like a family. I've been playing for 2 years and never did I expect this is something that could happen. Cherish your clan everyone, life is too short.

That is terrible, but yes, it can happen to any of us.

You were fortunate to at least know of his passing. I imagine that plenty of people wouldn't have a family member or friend that would report back to the clan.

Not silly at all. Even in virtual worlds you can build bonds with people once the clan has a purpose. I am sure he felt the same way about you guys.

In my clan, my leader is about to take a leave of absence for an unknown period of time. I have only been in the clan for two months but the amount of memories we have made as a clan (in war particularly) are countless and will always be cherished.

Never forget the ones you had with your friend.

I agree. Even though ive been in my clan only 7 months, it hit me hard when my clan leader was hit by a minivan. Luckily, she is alive, but you tend to develop feelings of friendship with people you never met and truly don't know. That's very sad that he died
