Farming in Masters

Hey guys & gals! I'm a new TH9 with level 6 barbs and archers. Loons are maxed and minions at 4. Just wondering if barching can be done up here? Also good army comps to use!!!

yes with 1 lava 24 balloons rest minions. You will need spells though.

I haven't figured out how to Barch yet, but I may do some experiments this week since I have a pretty good trophy buffer (2800, M2). I suspect it will boil down to picking the right base with enough exterior structures. It may require bringing along some giants or hogs to distract/take out exterior defenses.

I have had great success with 24 loons, 50 minions, 3 lightning, 1 rage, king and / or queen. I'm mostly hitting TH9's and focusing on getting the 50% and the DE storage. King, queen, cc, and lightning are backup for failed raids to pick up the remaining few percent. Rage is only used if the base has a lot of DE and I think the loons need that extra push to get it. I try and avoid using spells if I can help it since they take so much time and resources.

I can also hit TH10s if they have their IT's in the middle of the base by surgically striking the exterior defenses with loons and then cleaning up with minions but that's only something I do if the collectors are full.

The great thing about farming masters is, that if you leave your TH exposed, you almost always get sniped regardless of how much loot you have so it works out well when you are saving for the 7 mil xbow upgrade or 75k witch upgrade.

Yes I used 90 barbs 80 archers and 12 hogs to climb to masters. Now I want to go light on DE

not worth it , you will end up using 100k+ lixer per raid and if you arent boosting each raid will take more than 40 mins


also barching is quite risky up there , you wont have a guaranteed 50% at all

It's great for everything except regular elixir. Sometimes you may have to gem some elixir up there to avoid having to drop bellow c2 in order to get some. On rare occasions you get a lucky day and you not only make elixir you are maxing gold out and it's a lot of de almost always.

Use 220 archers. And make a ring around the base. Bring some lightnings just in case

Imo, master is great for DE farming.. You can make lots of it by using loonion.. But anything else... I'd say no

i do good farming in master with 10 giants 70 archers 70 gobs a few wall breakers. i also take a golem but hardly ever use him unless i need to get to the core for some really good loot. i also hardly ever use spells either

I'm using GiBArch in there for storage raids.
I haven't tried BArch, but I'm pretty sure it won't do as good for storage raids with 50% destruction.
