Just noticed that this idea has already been submitted; but I have an additional take on it.
The most common objections are:
★One clanmate would be constantly bombarded with challenges from his other clanmates.
--to prevent this, the challenging clanmate would only be able to request a challenge; the challengee would have the option to accept or deny the challenge.
--there would also be a vote by all the clanmembers on who gets to participate in the next challenge. They would vote on only the requests which have both parties agreeing to the challenge.
★Another objection is having the ability to copy an enemy clan's base (excluding hidden traps) for an attempt to 3-star/find the best strategy.
--to prevent this, challenges can only take place when all wars are over. This is perfect for those clans that have 2 wars per week because between wars they can watch some sport.
★Stronger Clan castle troops can be donated to one of the clanmates, where the other may get goblins and such.
--to prevent this, the challenge can only start when both parties are satisfied with their troops.(If SC doesnt approve this tactic, Im sure I can find an alternative)
★Clanmates will know exactly where traps are
--each player will get to design a specific base against their specific opponent's troops. They have the option to leave their base as is, but traps will be hidden regardless during the attack.
The rules to Clan Challenges are pretty simple:
☆Each player gets 1 attempt to score as many stars as possible and vice versa.
☆There will be a predetermined amount of available loot; equal, no matter the base strength difference.
☆You cannot challenge the same person back-to-back.
☆Only one challenge at a time per clan.
☆Seeing as the players are aware of any challenge when they accept it, their prep time will be significantly less than prep time for war. And since they only have 1 attack, battle time will only be 6 hours. This is debateable. I think that when the clan is voting on who gets to battle in the next challenge, they get to decide the timeline in a separate vote. The option with most votes would be executed, and all participants would know their timeline. The options would be: prep time 6hrs, battle time 6hrs. Prep time 12hrs, battle time 12 hrs. Prep time 24hrs, battle time 24hrs.
If anyone (including SC) has any objections, let me know because im sure theres a work-around. Please leave comments. I know my clan wants this to happen ASAP. Itd be really fun and a great way to earn bragging rights against the trash-talkers in everybody's clan
