Well it's sort of a trap: the decoy

This is a new trap known as the decoy. Unlocked at town level 8 with a radius of 3x3. When troops are deployed this will act as a defensive tower and will attract troops. When troop get in the 3x3 radius, it suddenly disappears. Giving time for real ones to attack. The price should be costly, it's up to you. I know there are similar posts but they include with the skeleton trap which players really hate. This is just a mild distraction for defense. sorry if this is ruled out but don't shatter my dreams.
