What is the reason that upgrading Hero's are not in Clan wars?

If we upgrade our buildings, the buildings are still available during clan war.

So why doesn't this logic apply to our hero's ? It makes no sense that the hero is inactive if being upgraded during a clan war.

What is the reason for this? and are they going to change this?

They are in the wars. As defense. It's the same thing when you upgrade a barracks and a spell factory: you can't use them for attacking when upgrading.

If you don't like that logic we can always throw in the logic that SC gets a lot of money from people gemming their heroes for war.
