When talking about hypothetical situation, we should never forget where all the senses go. In this matter, I'll say jerkish leader and high level clan tend to be on the opposing places on the scale. Of course, both exist, but is it really possible both co-exist in the same clan ? Hardly. Tending clan is not simple matter, more successful clans do have better leader while jerks who lead clan won't go anywhere.

Don't think the power. (Scenario) What will happened if you're clan level is 8 and accidentally your Clan leader got inactive or something happened that is out of our control like (accident or something), how can we pass the leadership to the co-leader position? Is there anyway to pass it on?

And they are the LEADER, the founder(90 percent of the time). It's their clan, if you don't like their rules than leave.
And why would he kick a good player to make space for his cousin when he can kick one of the bottom ones?
    Yup, i agree with you

I like this idea, but so far, I don't think there will be any leader that abuse the power in such a way. Really.

The thing I am worrying about is that as clan level goes higher so does clan leader's power. As leaders of higher level clans, they have tremendous power to recruit any good players just by flashing their shining clan level. At the same time, clan leaders can deliver the ultimate punishment to their clan members at will: that is kicking or threat to kick someone out in the clan.

Now that I am not saying leaders should never kick someone out in their clans, but what to stop them from kicking someone who's in the clan for long time and helped build the clan up and leveled clan to its glory? What to stop a leader to kick out an "old royal dog" just because his little cousin wants a spot in the clan? What to stop a new leader from kicking you out just because the new leader doesn't like you and has no regard of great contributions you committed to the clan...

If that happens before this perks update I think nobody could cares less. But now if you get kicked out of a say level 7 clan you've been with since level 1 for stupid reasons whatsoever, I don't think you would swollow that pride and resentment easily. For one you will feel a sense of getting detached and lost, then it will be hell of difficult to find another clan of level 7+.

I would like to suggest let each and every players "carry" their own war experience points. If a player left/kicked-out a clan, the clan would lost all experience points that player helped accumulated in that clan. If a player joined a new clan, the clan would be awarded all experience points that players earned through out all his war fightings.

Totalitarianism is never a good thing, but that's what SC is making clan leaders to be. We each players worked really hard to build our base and to obtain each and every stars in war. We want and we deserved to be treated fairly, and we want our clans to recognize us by our individual "weight", we do not want to grovel to our clan leaders for a spot in the clan yet never know one day they might kick us out at their pleasure.
This thread has been opened more than once already. You are forgetting, that you are only awarded experience ONCE for each base attacked. Many of the "good" players often hold their attacks to get the clean-up stars and ensure war wins, quite often it's the less-experienced, 'noobs' that actually collect the experience. What you are suggesting may make sense if every attack on a base earned experience, but it doesn't. Rather a single star on a base that in my clan would be considered a failure nets the same amount of experience as a three star attack would if both were the first attack.

Clan leaders have always had quite a bit of power, but I suspect that if someone was a "good" player since the beginning of a clan being level one and was with the clan until level 7, they would likely not be just a member. If they are, maybe it's time to question how much they are really contributing to the clan. You may work hard for your stars in war, and thats great, you get to keep those... check your war hero stats. But, stars do NOT equal experience - and it's a good thing too.

Eh? Clan leader wants to get his favorite cousin into the clan, so he kicks out the good hardworking loyal clannie who built up the clan?? Its a game, not a movie.

And secondly, if the clan member is so good, then why would he get kicked instead of a lesser member anyways? Doing what you suggested would do the opposite. Clan members will be like: Gimme co now or I'll leave your clan and take its points with me. Mwuhahahahhaaa.

Hey folk, it seems to me that you consider too much. At your first point, you are right. It is sure that leader have many powers, and it he/she owns a good clan, shinning a clan badge will be a good way to recruit people. However, if you have some wars after the latest update, you can see that it would take long long to gain perks. So here is what I wanna say: if the leader is as bad as you state, his clan will not have a high level, as people in the game have excellent observations. Even if he/she runs a high lv, like lv5, which is quite a good deal with clanmates, a poor leader still cannot have any followers.
