New TH9 3600 Trophies should i drop?

Hey guys, I'm new here, and I just got my th9 yesterday. I was completely maxed as a th8, and i spent a very long time working on skulls with nothing else to do. Anyways, I find that it gets extremely boring searching for snipes in order to farm off the loot bonus and I honestly don't have the time for it anymore. I really want to drop trophies so that I can enjoy the game again. However, it took me countless hours to get to champs and I feel like it will be a waste if I drop cups. Also, it's nice being able to join great clans with top players. So; should i drop trophies, and if so, what league do u recommend i go to?

Also, what is the general strategy about what to upgrade first, second, etc..

I have one xbow and the queen to level two btw

Ps, I know that sniping is hated on & considered noob-ish, but I only did it to get dark elixir, and then I decided to see how far I could go.

I'm nearly maxed at th9 and find that hanging around in Gold 1 or Crystal 3 is the best spot for loot. I mostly just use barch and feed off dead bases, usually gets me about 500K per raid and is alot faster then searching for TH snipes up in champion.

I always recommend your splash damage first after you get your new toys upgraded. Usually do mortars, wizard towers, AT's, cannons, then teslas.
