    The Dome of Protection - Anti-Zappers and storage murderers alike!

    Okay, the name is uh...Dome of Zeus? Idk, let's figure out the name the later. And for the entire post, I'll just refer it as Dome.

    Now, to start. The dome is a purchasable item starting from TH8 and above. On the purchase, menu it'll appear as a rod or a minefield-like appearance. Once purchased, the Dome could be attached/applied to your favoured building. Only one is available for purchase, but it can be later upgraded for stronger effects later on TH9/TH10.

    How does it work? Example. I attached the Dome on my DE storage. Then later comes a TH8 with 3 lightning spells. Said raider drops a lightning spell on my DE storage. The Dome activates/triggers and appears as a forcefield-like form shielding the DE storage and absorbing the damage.

    Furthermore, the Dome can be changed between two modes. I'll describe both modes below:

    Mode 1:
    -SHIELD - Once triggered, the Dome will appear as a forcefield with it's own amount HP. Once the Dome absorbs enough damage that goes beyond it's HP, it'll break and the building it's attached to will be then exposed. This will be useful for protecting against zappers, or to stall the raider from immediately stealing all that yummy DE. As an example, a L1 Dome would have 1K HP, this can resist a full x3 Lightning zap except for the last few hits, but that won't hurt much.

    -BASH- Once triggered, the Dome will appear as a forcefield. Unlike SHIELD mode, this mode has a less HP. So instead, it has it's own special trait. What would it be? Well it would absorb all the damage it's receiving, and then counter-attacking/unleash it double the strength! (Or less/more, depending on level) The range of this counter-beam would be around 6 or 5 tiles. Example, let's give BASH mode Dome 500 HP. We have a mass group of Barbs just mauling on the Dome. The Damage done by the Mass Barbs causes the Dome to break and then trigger it's counter beam. The Counter-beam steps in and releases a powerful AOE blast that deal x1.5 DMG (Multiple with the Dome's HP, in this case 500HP, multiply yourself :P) It also has a special effect on the Freeze Spell. Example you have a Dome attached to an Inferno Tower. Raider drops a freeze spell on mentioned Inferno Tower, the Dome kicks in and quickly absorbs, it's counter-beam as an effect has a freeze effect, this causes an AOE counter-beam applied with the freeze effect to be unleased. Freezing troops in the 6 tiles vicinity.

    I Like the idea. But 1k Life it's unviable. 390 Life it's good. you lose more than 70k to make a 3x lightning spell attack, don't you think The Buff on DE Storage HP isn't enought for you? but i have a implement.

    The Dome of Protection Can ONLY be placed on defensive building. THEM your idea gonna work well without Haters.

    It would he nice to shield DE. I like the idea.

    No. The game is already balanced. If you want to protect your DE, raise your trophies. If you can't hang up there, that's on you.

    If you get zapped, go out there, raid, and get some more.

    I agree, get out if the minor leagues if you dont want to be zapped. Ive gotten zapped twice this year. One for 650 the other for 215. Players in crystal know better because if they zap, they get revenged harder. I lose more to full raids then i do by zapping.

    I think nerfing it to a lower HP number should do it. Although I still think it should be attachable to any building of your choice.

    I didn't say it was specifically for protecting the storages mainly

    It can also be attached to defensive structures. TH10 freeze each other's Infernos, right? Well troll them right away as the Dome immediately shields it.

    Another example, for TH8s. Mass Drag is a common war strat amongst them, attach a Dome to a AD and shield it from the Dragon's fire!

    Shielding infernos would be waaaay OP. Again, no. Learn to raid properly, and take enough to make up for it.

    I think it is an amazing idea. I understand if people full on raid you fair play, but to be 300 DE short of upgrade and then get zapped by 4 level 5 lightning spells is not good...

    How about something like a lightning rod? It would take a % of the damage of lightning spells. Dont know if thats been brought up and ruled out or not.

    Stop with the bandaids, and try to actually fix defence. (Proposed Defence Revamp)

    This is silly that the same old ideas are brought up, only to have mixed reviews, dropped, forgotten, reinvented, and repeated. Only good thing about this thread is that it was brought up from being sunk, rather than reinvented.
