This is something that has annoyed me for quite a while, but has been especially aggravating this week. Anyone who is familiar with dragon attacks, know's how bad they can be for going the wrong direction from which they were directed, and if you have an archer queen, then you are more then familiar with her passion for attacking walls for no reason other then the fact that its there, when she is being pounded by a defense building 4 tiles away.
This week I have had no less then 4 perfectly good gowipe attacks that wound up being in the 85%+ destruction range, turn out to be one star attacks because troops have made some of the DUMBEST decisions I have ever witnessed when it comes to attacking. I just got doing another 1 star raid in war because the 3 pekkas I dropped decided to dead stop in their tracks after walking in a B-line towards the wide open town hall (all buildings within 10 tiles of this one corner destroyed) decided to stop for a second or two, and then make a hard right and run around the outside of the base to a building that wasnt even nearly as close as the townhall was. Then at the end of the raid, my archer queen, which was within 5 tiles of the townhall, decided to pound away at a lvl 7 wall, instead of attacking the cannon that was blasting her the entire time she worked over this wall.
Now I perfectly understand there are limitations to what you can do with an android based game, but there has to be SOMETHING that can be done to improve the logic of war troops to some degree. Troops right now arent even as smart as mice in a cage at this point. At the VERY least I would hope that SC could do something about the fact that troops, including the archer queen will sit there and play with walls instead of dealing with the defense that is attacking them. This sort of behavior completely defies all logic to the way the game was meant to be played. PLEASE tell me someone else agrees with me on this.
