Cup number where champions could attack you?

Anyone who knows the cup number where players in champion league could start seeing you in matchmaking? I know that it within +/-200 range but I do not know if it applies to champion.

Is it 2800? Revenge not counted.

Technically a champ could find a crystal 1, but the matchmaking will always find the highest possible player. So if there was noone possible to attack, they could hit anywhere down to 2400

Less technically, 2850-2900 is where you really start to get hit (from my experience, which was several months ago).

The lowest enemy I had while I was in champions was somewhere in masters 2 I believe. But they generally only give 1 or 2 cups and you can lose stupid amounts (-39 etc). So it isn't really worth it unless you are farming and pushing at the same time.

First time i got attacked by a champ was on 3K that was -1 lost.
I preferred being attacked by a champ player than a master II / I it gives me less trohpy loss
that would help me achieve my champs badge soon, sitting at 3070

Ha...first time I was ever hit by someone from champs I was at 2900.....he was at 3650. Just a snipe but couldn't figure out how he managed that at the time. Still remember who it was too...and this was roughly 10 months ago.
